Patrik Dvorščak

Patrik Dvorščak’s portfolio needed to reflect the playful, critical character of his work while providing a clear, professional presentation for galleries, curators and other visitors. The design challenge was to carry that character into the website while giving the paintings space to speak for themselves.

I paired a prominent name graphic and an animated figure with restrained typography, a white background and generous spacing. These playful elements established a distinctive identity, while the gallery and individual work pages kept attention on the images and their accompanying information.

I designed and built the bilingual portfolio, organising works, biographical information, exhibition history and contact details into a straightforward structure. The website used standard WordPress editing, in line with the artist’s preference for a simple way to maintain it.

I later added my own text on his practice, offering a deeper account of the ideas behind its visual language. Together, the design and writing connected an immediately recognisable presentation with the conceptual depth of the work.
